Skin-ny Coasters: Easy Coaster Craft

Here is an easy, inexpensive way to create stylish coasters

Supplies:

  • Adhesive spray-glue ( here on Jo Ann.com)
  • 12″x 12″ Crocodile skin scrap-book paper (here on Amazon.com)
  • 6″x 6″ Cork tiles (here on Jo Ann.com)
  • Scissors

Begin by cutting the cork tiles 4″x4″. Then, cut the paper to match the tiles. Spray the adhesive spray onto the cork and apply the paper. Use heavy books to set on top of the coasters while they dry

Good idea. You can also make coasters with kitchen/bathroom tiles. Simply cut a piece of felt to fit the bottom, and glue on.

Good idea Christie! I’ve actually used those bathroom tiles too, and glued scrapbook paper to the top, then brushed clear poly over them so they were more durable.
